When in Japan...Shop!

Hello again! In this post I will be talking about my favorite places to go shopping! I will list some of the best malls/locations and will include what you can buy there:

Shinjuku:

1) Mylord: This mall was one of my favorite places to shop! They have really cute clothing and accessory stores, plus lots of restaurants on the 7th-9th floors! On the 4th floor, they also have a Sanrio gift store!

2) Lumine EST: This mall was also great for clothes shopping! Like Mylord, it also has restaurants on the top floors! My favorite shop here was the Sanrio store, since they had "atarikuji," which is like a raffle you can buy to get a certain prize depending on which number ticket you pull from a box!

Shin Okubo:

This city is known as "Korea Town." Along with many restaurants, this is the best place to get any k-pop and k-beauty march you need!

Harajuku:

1) Takeshita Street: This is the famous street lined with a variety of shops! I definitely recommend just strolling down this street and seeing everything they have! However, my favorites were the Daiso, the gachapon shop (capsule toys), and the pet store (which you can buy cute pet clothes)!

Omotesando:

If you go a little past Takeshita Street, you can end up in Omotesando! This is a luxury shopping area, however they do have a few stores that I really recommend!

1) B-side Label: This store is famous for their cute and cool stickers! They often have collabs with anime/cartoons too (like Pokemon, One Piece, Sanrio, Naruto, Haikyuu, and more!).

2) Kiddy Land: This is the best store for finding cute character merchandise! They have over 4 floors with character goods, like Ghibli, Mofusand, Snoopy, Pokemon, Sanrio, Kirby, and more!

Ikebukuro:

1) Animate: This is THE PLACE to go to for anime goods and manga in Japan. The Ikebukuro location has 9 floors and is so much fun to look around in! The manga is very cheap, and they constantly have new anime goods!

2) Sunshine 60 Mall: This mall is one of my favorites! They have lots of fun stores, like the Pokemon Center, Pokemon Go Store, Mugiwara One Piece Store, Kiddy Land, Disney Store, Ghibli Store, and more! They also have the World's Largest Gachapon store, plus an aquarium! This mall also has a lot of clothing stores, shoe stores, and restaurants!

Shibuya:

1) Mega Donquihote: This is the best place to go for omiyage! They have everything you possibly need! My favorite was their omiyage snack section, which is where I bought more than 10 different Kit Kat flavors! I personally recommend the wasabi, Baskin Robbins mint chocolate chip, otona matcha, and hojicha flavors!
